Registration is now OPEN for the 4th Annual Urban & Small Farms Conference.
The 2016 conference will take place February 17 and 18 at the Viridian Event Center (8030 S 1825 W) in West Jordan, Utah. We have a fantastic line-up of speakers and presentations on topics ranging from: fruit and vegetable production, irrigation, aquaponics, good agriculture practices (GAP), cover crops, pest control, climate modeling, food safety updates, marketing & finance, and much, much more!

Below are general descriptions of each day.
- Day 1 February 17th – Utah Berry Growers, Backyard Chickens and Aquaponics in the morning. Vegetable production, a beginning farmers workshop and a workshop targeted toward refugee farmers.
- Day 2 February 18th – GAP workshop, tree fruit basics, USDA programs, Irrigation track, alternative production, Food Safety Modernization Act updates, and Food Hub discussion.
Early registration is $30 per day or $50 for both days. Lunch and breaks will be provided both days.

This conference is perfect for specialty crop producers engaged in direct marketing including CSAs, farmer’s markets and other outlets. It will also have workshops for those that are deciding what they might want to do and assist them with developing their own business plans.
