Spring has sprung and bees are back! Some gardeners get giddy viewing their first crocus or daffodil of the year – me, I get giddy when I see my first native bee and I’ve seen many thus far this year – yahoooo!
I wanted to make sure to share these awesome videos from the Integrated Crop Pollination Project, here is their introduction and happy bee gazing!
The Xerces Society is a partner in the Integrated Crop Pollination Project, which is developing ways to effectively use native pollinators for crop pollination. Xerces staff created two newly released videos, “Pollinator Habitat 101” and “Five Steps to Success for Establishing Perennial Wildflower Plantings for Pollinators,” which provide a great introduction to planning and creating habitat on farms.
