I don’t know about you, but I’ve been spending time in gardens lately and have seen loads of evidence of fruit and vegetable insect pests.  Something is chewing my kohlrabi starts and nibbling on my fig tree leaves.  I even picked some garden spinach yesterday and found lacewing eggs on a leaf loaded with aphids (I put the leaf back in my garden so the eggs can hatch)!  I’ve also seen lots and lots of tiny grasshopper nymphs.  Much to my relief, I checked out the most recent fruit and vegetable pest advisories and found useful information on what I need to do now to control some of these pests.  If you haven’t already done so, take some time and check it out for yourself!
